Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties is a community funded 501C3 charitable organization. The reasons to donate are as varied as our supporters. You may be a person of faith, wanting to put your faith into good works, and you view Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties as the means to do this. Maybe you’ve had a positive experience with Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties where a friend or family member has been helped. Maybe you’re looking to match your philanthropic goals with a like-minded organization. Whatever your reason, we are grateful for the support you provide, annually or on a one-time basis.
Charitable donations come in all shapes and sizes, and are all important to Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties. We are happy to accept the donation that best fits your circumstances. No gift is too small. All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Since each gift is individual, you should consult your personal tax advisor to determine your deductibility and what type of donation is best for you. Donation of Funds
Catholic Charities dedicates itself to providing assistance to the poor and vulnerable in Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties. Our success is due, largely, to the gifts and donations that we receive from our neighbors.
Catholic Charities accepts monetary donations of any amount, whether it is to help with one of our programs, or for use where the need is greatest. All donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to designate where you would like your donation to go, please indicate by noting it on your check.

Donation of Time
Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties welcomes volunteers from the community. We also offer student internships. Please see the Volunteer page for more information.

Thrift Shop
Catholic Charities will accept donations of furniture and household items. Please bring items during regular Thrift Shop hours (Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00 - 2:30) and drop them off at the donation receiving room at 489 West Main Street, Cobleskill.
Please make sure that any donations are in good or “gently used condition.” We accept furniture, appliances, household items, bicycles, sporting goods, kitchen equipment and more. We will no longer accept computers, monitors, or computer equipment. All donations are tax deductible. Catholic Charities provides receipts at time of donation.
Please do not leave donations during non-business hours.
