Mission Statement
Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties, a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Albany, is committed to active witness on behalf of the Scriptural values of mercy and justice.
Catholic Charities, recognizing human need at all stages of life, responds to all persons regardless of race, creed or lifestyle, with special emphasis on the economically poor and the vulnerable.
Catholic Charities serves and empowers persons in need, advocates for a just society, calls forth and collaborates with women and men of good will in fulfillment of its mission.
Our Board of Directors
Our current Board of Directors represent a broad range of interests and abilities. Their common link is their commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities and their active involvement in this agency.
The purpose of the Board is to formulate policy, set the agency's direction and oversee the implementation of its decisions through the agency's Executive Director. The Board of Directors meets ten times a year and holds its Annual Meeting in the month of June.

Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties looks for community leaders who are passionate about our mission to serve on our Board of Directors. We also welcome members of our local communities who would like to share a specific talent or expertise to serve on one of our Board committees. Committees include Finance, Public Relations / Fundraising, Continuous Quality Improvement, Personnel, Donor Development, Executive, and Membership / Nominating.
